Ecorche Skeleton

An update on my ecorche done in Andrew Ameral's Anatomy/Ecorche class.
Most the skeleton is at least roughed-in and now we have started adding the major muscles of the face - and even an eyeball!
The right half of the skeleton will be refined and stay exposed. The left half will have all the muscles.
Therefore, I have only carved the ribs on the right side where they will be seen!
He needs a name. Yes, he is a he. Any suggestions?

Your patience is amazing. Your skills surpass it. Kind of reminds me of a Daniel Sprick painting. Maybe you could call him Danny Bones or Mr. Spricks.

Thanks HJ, this one is male because the shape of the pelvis and the skull, and the overall proportions, are based off a real male skeleton (and also from male skeletons in anatomy books). I think a lot of artificial skeletons are based off male proportions. But of course, it's possible to get either male or female real skeletons.
I like the name Janus, too!

Hello Sadie, Fantastic work. Congratulations again on winning the first place award from ARC - I am so glad I took that beginner's class with you. Thank you again for inspiration and a very good teaching. I think I can say I made progress. Janus is nice (two faces beginning and end ) I called my cranium clappy clap - Oh well!!::Nadia that's not funny!!::
