NOTE TO ART MODELS: Please see note at bottom of this page.

Available Work and Purchase Information
All available paintings are posted in the Paintings page, and each is marked as “Available” or “Sold”. Available paintings have a link to the appropriate gallery to contact for purchase information.

Studio Location
The studio is located near the intersection of 16th and Bryant Streets in San Francisco. Specific address will be emailed to students upon registration. The studio is open to the public by appointment only, or on designated Open Studio days.

Parking and Transportation
There is some available parking in our building parking lot, especially after hours and daytimes Saturday through Monday. Tuesday through Friday daytimes you may have to circle to find street parking. The studio is a 15 minute walk from the subway BART stop at 16th and Mission. We are easily accessible by MUNI bus lines #9, 27, and 33 (see bus map here)

Accommodations
For students traveling to attend a workshop from out of town, we recommend renting an apartment as the most affordable option. Try http://www.vrbo.com/ to find apartment rentals.

The Castro neighborhood is a good location for renting an apartment or staying in a small inn or B&B. It is a safe, nice neighborhood and an easy bus ride to the studio.

If you would like to share accommodations with another workshop attendee please email us and we will connect you.

For those who prefer a hotel, the Inn San Francisco has a good rate for a single room with shared bathroom, and is about a 12-15 minute walk from the studio.

This San Francisco youth hostel is actually very nice, comfortable, and very affordable. However it is about a 30 minute or more bus ride to the studio.http://sfhostels.com/fishermans-wharf/

Please contact us for more advice on accommodations and we will do our best to help you!

Paying for Classes

Online payment with a credit card or Paypal is preferred, because a class may fill while your check is in the mail.

You do not need a Paypal account. Click the “Buy Now” button for the class you want to purchase, and then click the link that says “Don’t have a Paypal Account?”, and from there you can use a credit card or debit card to pay online securely. Please email info@sadievaleri.com if you need help.

Payment by Check: Please include a $3.00 processing fee with your payment. Please email info@sadievaleri.com to request instructions for paying by check. Your placement in the class will not be confirmed until the check has been received.

Art Models
Sadie Valeri’s studio only works with professional art models who have experience offering long, muti-session poses. We hold art model auditions once or twice per year.

To apply for an audition, please send a head shot, a TASTEFUL, DISCREET figure shot (**that means NO exposed genitalia please**), and a brief bio of your modeling experience to info@sadievaleri.com.

Sadie’s husband Nowell screens and schedules all applicants. If you are invited to audition you will get an email from him. Otherwise we do not reply to applicants.

Our application process is very selective. However, once a model has been hired, they can expect a friendly, comfortable environment where respect for the model is our priority.
